ACCOUNTING & FINANCE LDA PROGRAM

Parker's Accounting Leadership Development Program is not just any program. It's a two-year journey designed to catapult your career at Parker. You'll have the opportunity to dive deep into the world of accounting and finance, from cost accounting and financial analytics to audit and compliance. But it's not all about the numbers; we're committed to your professional and personal development, offering ongoing training, mentorship, and the chance to network with pros across the organization.

What you'll do:

  • • Rotate through 4 rotational assignments, gaining unparalleled experience and insights. Each assignment lasts 6 months.
  • • Assist the Accounting Manager/Division Controller with monthly closings and ad-hoc projects. 
  • • Assist on projects relating to those of a Cost Accountant, Financial Analyst, Internal Auditor, etc. 
  • • Learn proper efficiencies relating to analytical and presentation skills ("how to say more with less").
  • • Benefit from formal training, on-the-job learning, and mentorship.

  • • Those who are geographic flexibility during and upon completion of the program.

Who we're looking for:

  • • Recent or soon to be graduates with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, ready to make a difference.
  • • Working knowledge of accounting principles, i.e., GAAP. 
  • • Must be willing and able to relocate every six (6) months.
  • • Excellent communicators who can break down complex ideas.
  • • Tech-savvy individuals with proficiency in Microsoft Office (bonus points for SQL, Python, or R skills).
