CONSTRUCTING AN EMISSION-FREE FUTURE
Working in partnership with Volvo CE, Parker’s long electrification experience has helped convert Volvo’s
mid-sized, 20-ton L120H wheel loader from diesel to electric. The first of the next generation of electrified,
heavy-duty, off-road vehicles, the all-electric L120H leads the way in transforming the construction industry
to more sustainable, emission-free vehicles.
Using Parker electrification components, the Volvo L120H Electric Conversion wheel loader delivers the same powerful performance as its diesel counterpart. With zero exhaust emissions and near-silent operation, it provides enhanced comfort to vehicle operators and anyone working nearby. Powered by 240 kWh batteries, the L120H Electric Conversion has a runtime of approximately five hours and an estimated 0-100% charge time of approximately 1.5-2 hours.

SMALLER LIGHTER MOTORS FOR OFF-ROAD VEHICLES
Parker’s GVM (Global Vehicle Motor) is a powerful, lightweight choice for both on- and off-road vehicle electrification. For this conversion, a GVM 310 motor was used. The high-power density provides a performance the same or higher than a diesel engine but with lower noise and zero emissions. The small size of the electric motor enables more space for other components. This critical combination provided the power to achieve the speed and torque required for the heavy-duty task of WRX track construction.

COMPACT GVI INVERTERS FOR EFFICIENCY
AND RELIABILITY
When used in conjunction with Parker’s GVM as in the L120H wheel loader, the High Voltage Parker GVI series provides a motor control solution for mobile machinery. The Parker Global Vehicle Inverter (GVI) range aims to provide the highest efficiency in combination with the Parker GVM mobile motors while maintaining superior reliability in the most demanding off-road applications. Compact and reliable Parker GVI Inverters for mobile applications like the L120H Electric Conversion provide a superb combination of power, performance, and functionality. Their reduced dimensions make integration into limited spaces easier without sacrificing any output performance.

PUTTING YOU IN CONTROL
The IQAN Controller is the brain of the entire electrification kit. It handles
the communication between the components, subsystems, and the machine
to enable the safe operation of the machine and the electrification system.
SOMETHING QUIET TO SHOUT ABOUT
Electrified vehicles generate heat which needs to be dissipated safely. The Parker QDC (Quiet Air Fluid Cooler with 24V DC and 600V DC Fan Drive)
is optimized for use in the mobile electrification market and is available in a range of cooling capacities from 1kW to 400kW. The QDC series offers a unique cooling solution for electrified vehicles and provides 2 -3 x more cooling capacity than previous versions. Quiet, compact, and adjustable, the QDC series ensures near-silent operation along with space and power savings.

KEEPING COOL UNDER PRESSURE

Parker has two innovative hose options that help simplify EV cooling for battery mobility, mobile applications,
and construction vehicles like the Volvo L120H Electric Conversion wheel loader.
ELECTRONIC COOLANT COOLANT HOSE (ECH)
The Paraflex Electronic Coolant Hose (ECH) is a thermoplastic hose designed for the pressure and temperature requirements of the battery mobility and construction markets. A thermoplastic polyamide liner provides excellent chemical compatibility and moisture permeation resistance and its lightweight,
durability, and push-to-connect installation allows compact routing.
E-Z FORM HOSE
The E-Z Form is a very flexible, general-purpose hose designed to handle extreme bends and provide full flow, kink-free performance for air, coolants, mild chemicals, and water in mobile applications. Available in multiple incremental sizes - eliminating the need for made-to-order pre-formed
hoses - they are an excellent choice for a wide variety of low-pressure engine coolant transfer applications. With unparalleled weight savings and
unmatched cleanliness, E-Z Form hoses reduce installation time and provide exceptional performance.
