EXPORT CONTROL LDA PROGRAM
The Export Control Leadership Development Associate (Export Control LDA) is a role that combines the development aspects of Parker’s Leader Development Program (LDP/Program) with the general duties of a Parker Export Control Analyst. The Export Control LDA’s primary duties will involve support of policy development and alignment, management and auditing of company compliance and metrics, investigations, and leadership on assigned projects and programs, incorporating Program aspects to support decision-making processes that will impact our long-term future.
What you'll do:
- • Rotate through 3 rotational assignments, gaining unparalleled experience and insights. Each assignment lasts 6-12 months each.
- • Manages and maintains division’s import and export manuals and conducts regular audits.
- • Manages and maintains the division’s item master for HTS, COO, and License status.
- • Partners with Engineering and/or procurement on new product compliance coding.
- • Ensures import and export records are filed according to US and Parker rules.
- • Manages and provides FTA data to customers as required.
- • Liaisons with leadership for submittal of Government Licensing applications, as necessary.
- • Responsible for the proper exporting of the division’s products.
- • Promotes and ensures adherence to Parker policies and programs.
- • Ensures compliance to industry regulations and protocols such as CTPAT, ITAR, and EAR.
- • Responsible to deliver and/or attend Parker import/export training annually.
Who we're looking for:
- • Recent or soon-to-be graduates with a bachelor’s in Logistics, Supply Chain or Operations Management, International Trade, or Other.
- • Understands and applies basic knowledge of the project management.
- • Working knowledge of export compliance concepts and demonstrated application.
- • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project, and other related business tools.
- • Understands and applies fundamental problem solving and analytical skills.
- • Ability to effectively communicate status and exchange information with team members and management.
- • Must be able to work without sponsorship/ Incumbent MUST be either a US citizen, lawful permanent resident [“green card” holders] or have refugee or asylee status) as this role is subject to compliance with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
ENGINEERING LDA
What you'll do:
• Rotate through 4 rotational assignments, gaining unparalleled experience and insights. Each assignment lasts 6 months.
• Embark on up to 4 dynamic rotational assignments, each lasting about 6 months.
• Research, evaluate, and recommend solutions to pressing business issues.
• Collaborate with divisional, group, and peer teams on impactful projects.
• Present your findings and technical data to teammates and stakeholders.
• Dive into multiple technology courses and training programs.
• Get hands-on with the design, testing, integration, and qualification of Parker products.

Who we're looking for:
• Recent grads with a BS in Engineering, especially Electrical, Computer Science, Electro-Mechanical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Chemical, Agricultural, Motor Design, Robotics, or System Integration.
• A solid GPA of 3.0 (overall) and 3.2 (core classes).
• Proven ability to navigate conflict and work well in team settings.
• Self-starters with a professional attitude, capable of working autonomously or in a group.
• Those who have an interest in integrated software/hardware products and high analytical skills.
• Those who are geographic flexibility during and upon completion of the program.
