When it comes to electric, Parker is positioned in a unique situation since it can provide its customers with different solutions. While the full electric vehicle represents the cleanest and most advanced solution, the diesel electric hybrid is a bridge technology towards green goals.

In a hybrid solution, the truck maintains a diesel engine, but the transmission is aided by electric motors and a small battery pack which functions as a buffer for recovered energy. The hydraulics can also be powered by an electric power unit, that uses the recovered energy as a primary source. The truck architecture is slightly modified from its original state but the emissions are significantly reduced.
