The IQAN-MD5 displays serve as the primary interface in a multimaster system, where controllers manage time-critical functions while the display provides visual entertainment and information.
These displays are designed for seamless integration into panels, featuring an easy-to-mount concept that is compatible with RAM mount components. Performance has been significantly enhanced, boasting four times the capability of previous display models, powered by quad-core technology at 1.25 GHz. The IQAN-MD5 supports 3D animations and is built on the latest technology from Texas Instruments.
In terms of connectivity, the IQAN-MD5 features three CAN buses that comply with the CAN-FD standard, equipped with Signal Improvement Capabilities (SiC) for speeds up to 5 Mbit/s. Additionally, it offers eight digital inputs, two encoder inputs, three digital outputs, and up to two Ethernet ports to fully support various Human Machine Interface (HMI) requirements.
