LEAN & QUALITY LDA PROGRAM
The Lean and Quality Leadership Development Program is a role that combines the development aspects of Parker’s Leader Development Program (LDP/Program) with the general duties of a Parker Lean Leader. The LDA’s primary duties will involve championing Lean initiatives at the plant level, organizing teams for value stream mapping and waste elimination across all functions, incorporating Program aspects to support decision-making processes that will impact our long-term future.
What you'll do:
- • Rotate through 4 rotational assignments, gaining unparalleled experience and insights. Each assignment lasts 6 months.
- • Learn and apply problem-solving methodologies to improve manufacturing and non-manufacturing processes.
- • Develop leadership skills and business expertise through practical experience and training.
- • Participate in multiple technology courses and training programs to enhance your knowledge.
- • Engage with experienced engineers and customers to manage independent projects and contribute to team success.
Who we're looking for:
- • Recent or soon-to-be graduates with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Quality, Manufacturing, Industrial, Chemical, or Mechanical).
- • Candidates with a GPA of 3.0 or higher and a strong analytical mindset.
- • Individuals with demonstrated leadership skills and a professional attitude.
- • Familiarity with lean concepts and relevant experience through internships or co-ops is a plus.
- • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; project management experience is preferred.
- • Those who are geographic flexibility during and upon completion of the program.
