A flex circuit cable running through the hinge between a printed circuit board and the display in a laptop computer required an economical shield wrap or tape. The cable acted like an antenna without shielding.

SOLUTION
Using the existing materials and technology, Parker Chomerics combined a non-conductive adhesive on 3 mil dielectric PVC strip, bonded to aluminum foil coated with an electrically conductive pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) with an oversized release liner on the PVC side.
