Advantages of Thermoplastic Hose over Metal Tubing
Flexibility
- Thermoplastic hoses are highly flexible, making them ideal for use in applications where complex routings are needed.
- Metal tubing is rigid and requires adapters or mechanical processes to create bends.
Quicker Installation
- Long continuous lengths make ECH hose easy to install. They are quickly connected or disconnected and minimize the need for adapters.
- Metal tubing, on the other hand, requires specialized tools and equipment to install and can be time-consuming to connect and disconnect.
Corrosion Resistance
- Thermoplastic hoses are corrosion resistant with excellent chemical compatibility.
- Metal tubing can be prone to corrosion and may require additional coatings or treatments to protect against corrosion.
