PARFLEX ELECTRONIC COOLANT HOSE
IT'S NOT JUST ABOUT PERFORMANCE, IT'S ABOUT LONGEVITY
The Parker ECH system maintains cooling capacity and increases long-term battery life.
Faster Installation With Flexible Hose On Battery Thermal Management Systems
Parker's electronic coolant hose system reduces installation effort, improves flow, and diminishes ambient energy absorption throughout the manufacturer’s circuit. This extends the life of the system and improves overall efficiency.
Advantages of Thermoplastic Hose over Metal Tubing
Flexibility
  • Thermoplastic hoses are highly flexible, making them ideal for use in applications where complex routings are needed.
  • Metal tubing is rigid and requires adapters or mechanical processes to create bends.
Quicker Installation
  • Long continuous lengths make ECH hose easy to install. They are quickly connected or disconnected and minimize the need for adapters.
  • Metal tubing, on the other hand, requires specialized tools and equipment to install and can be time-consuming to connect and disconnect.
Corrosion Resistance
  • Thermoplastic hoses are corrosion resistant with excellent chemical compatibility.
  • Metal tubing can be prone to corrosion and may require additional coatings or treatments to protect against corrosion.
Cost-Effective
  • In battery coolant applications, hoses are often more cost-effective than metal tubing.
  • ECH hose assemblies have a lower overall cost of ownership as metal tubing can be extensive to manufacture and install. Metal tubing is run in short, straight lengths, often requiring multiple pieces to connect between components.
Vibration Resistance
  • ECH Hose is highly resistant to vibration, which makes them ideal for use in mobile applications where vibration and movement are expected.
  • Metal tubing can be prone to cracking or breaking under vibration, which can lead to leaks or failure.
Reduced Weight
  • Hoses are typically lighter than metal tubing, reducing employee fatigue during installation, vehicle weight and shipping costs.
