Extruded and Spliced Hexapod Seals

Optimal Large Retention Seals for Low Pressure Applications

Extruded & spliced solid hexapod seals are great for retention in lower pressure applications. Similar to the keyhole seal, hexapod seals are easy to install, provide excellent retention, and eliminate standard size tooling costs. They are an optimal choice for large enclosures like EV batteries, heavy duty engines, or when a large custom molded shape is cost prohibitive due to tooling.

Benefits of the Extruded Hexapod Seal Design:

  • Excellent for retention
  • For lower pressure applications
  • No tooling charge for standard sizes
  • Extruded and spliced

Press-in-Place Sealing Technology

Press-In-Place Seals, or PIP seals as they are also known, ease component assembly, servicability, and transit issues. Seal retention is the greatest benefit of using PIP seals, achieved by sidewall interference with no adhesives required.
