Parker's Electronic Motion and Controls Division (EMC) has sold the Industrial Profile Systems (IPS) t-slot aluminum framing business to MB Kit Systems LCC of Akron, Ohio effective February 1, 2022. MB Kit is a subsidiary of Weiss North America, the U.S. subsidiary of Weiss GmbH of Germany, who specialize in automated positioning system solutions for factory automation. MB Kit has a shared history with Industrial Profile Systems, the company acquired by Parker in 2002. 

MB Kit will continue to market the Parker IPS products and part numbers for the foreseeable future. In addition, they offer an expanded number of parts, including integrated motion systems, and provide additional engineering and design services to their customers that was not part of the IPS offering. They have a 40,000 square foot facility in Akron with advanced machining, assembly, and test capabilities.
