- Overall mine safety due to diesel exhaust
- Limitations on mine depth due to the difficulty in getting ventilation to where it needs to be.
Fully electric mining machines are the obvious answer to minimizing ventilation needs and Parker has introduced cutting edge motor and inverter technology to help address those needs.
GVM Motors and GVI Inverters for accessory drives.
The GVM motor and GVI inverter product line is scalable to address electro-hydraulic pump drive requirements from small to large and voltages from 24 VDC to 800 VDC. Motors can be ordered with SAE pump mounts so that GVM motors and Parker hydraulic pumps can be directly connected, saving precious space and payload weight.

The Parker GVM motor line continues to expand with the introduction of the new GVM310. This motor is bigger and more powerful than our existing GVM210 and GVM142 motors. The GVM310 is ideally suited for traction drive applications on heavy electric mining machines and is scalable for specific torque requirements.
