PMT to PTC Brass DOT Fittings

Fluid System Connectors Division announces a transition from PMT to PTC

All Brass Prestomatic (PMT) DOT Fittings will be updated to the PTC design by December 1, 2020. These Brass DOT Fittings will feature an updated body, which is designed to use the same internal components (Collet and O-Ring) as our Composite DOT Fittings. The brass materials used for the Body and Collet will not be changed. PTC parts remain under the same performance specifications as PMT. As part of this update, product nomenclature will change from Brass PMT to Brass PTC Fittings. E.g. VS169PMT-8-8 will now be VS 169PTC-8-8.

All Brass PMT product must be changed over to PTC by December 30, 2020. FSC will continue to

accept orders to the previous PMT design through December 1, 2020. Any orders placed after this date will be supplied with the new PTC Design. PTC inventory will be available November 1, 2020.
